Don’t Be A Smarty, Get Smorty!

Some of you readers have probably noticed in the past that we’ve done several things in order to help pay for the hosting expenses, and add a little pocket change to the blogger (that’s me) for time spend on research, etc. I’m not getting rich here, but I’m covering the costs of my domain and hosting, and so forth.

Well, I’ve run across another opportunity that allows advertisers and bloggers to link up, and let’s bloggers get paid to blog. In fact, if you have you’re own blog, you should sign up! The name of the company is Smorty (no, that’s not smarty, smarty pants!). They take a great concept in blog advertising to the next level with their services. Blogs are rated based on several criteria, and the higher you rate, the more money you can make. It’s an easy way to get a chance to make a few extra dollars, while doing something that I love … sharing information with YOU!

Our Newest Sponsor

As the Tech News & Reviews blog continues to build it’s readership and following, I am always looking for sponsors to help support the costs of maintaining the blog, and inevitably build some profit into the venture.  While I do this as a labor of love, making some cash on the site would be nice, right?

Well, today it’s my pleasure to announce our latest sponsor for the blog, a company called Pay Per Post.  They offer opportunities for bloggers to make money by posting paid advertisements into their blogs.  Most bloggers and advertisers will disclose these posts so the readership knows they are sponsored posts.  Also, a majority of the opportunities are neutral, meaning that the blogger is free to present thier honest opinion, good or bad, for the featured sponsor.  The advertisers benefit from the buzz created around their product or service, and from the blog helping to drive traffic to their site.

Not a bad deal all the way around, when you think about it.  It really presents itself as a win-win situation for all parties concerned.  I love the concept because it allows me to get paid for something that I love to do:  blogging!  So, over the next few days you should see some changes here on the blog, from design to implementation of all of the support tools that Pay Per Post has available to help sponsor the blog.  Thank you PPP for providing this opportunity!
